Much like Alleven’s marketing for their face serum, the Prodigy Oil can be used in a variety of ways. If you’re new to oil, you’ll appreciate the options, and I especially liked the recommendation to mix the oil with their toner (a product I also enjoyed and reviewed previously). On hot summer days in the desert, my skin struggles to stay hydrated. And even though the toner/oil mixture is recommended as a “skin balancer” for people with oily/combination skin, I found it helpful as a hydration booster for my normal-to-dry skin when mixed with one of my lesser quality toners.Usually, I use oil as a topper in the evening, but I liked mixing the Prodigy Oil with a gel-based moisturizer for daytime. I have been using Alleven's Prodigy oil for the past two weeks and I really love it! The oil comes in a dropper bottle which I really like for contactless dispensing. It’s super lightweight and goes on really easy. You only need less than a dime sized amount for your entire face and neck. I was using it right after my cleanser then topping it with my moisturizer at night. I also tried it a few times during the day mixed in with the same brands total face serum and it was light enough to not make my make up look greasy.
