I was so excited to try this foundation…it’s marketed as a concealer, foundation, and a treatment all in one! Which is amazing in a world where you are expected to do a full skincare routine and SPF prior to makeup. The ingredient list is also really good and only contains one ingredient that is comedogenic which is a huge plus for me! I thought that the applicator was a little bit flimsy but it doesn’t bother me. I always apply my foundation with a damp beauty blender and when i did i was pleasantly surprised with the formula and application, it blended out easily and consistently and it meshed together like a second skin on my face. After 1 thin application i realized i like my foundation more full coverage so i did a second layer and i would definitely say its a buildable foundation and it did cover up blemishes and redness when going in a second time. I also will note that the smell is really nice, it’s a sweet clean scent that i like. I did top it off with some concealer to brighten the T zone and undereyes and my complexion looked super natural and “snatched”! I would definitely recommend this multitasking foundation! I have to say this formula was not thick at all. It didnt feel heavy and it blended like butter. It didnt leave any streaks and it covered my dark circles and acne. The shade sand was a perfect shade from me. It is buildable and the is not pure matte but its not dewy either. It is more like a hybrid. The amazing part is thay it nor only corrects you complexion but also conceals your imperfections like my acne and balances my skin tone. The doefoot application picks up a perfect amount so that youre not wasting product. It is a fairly large doefoot but I feel that the size was perfect for the under eyes. I also loved that it came in a glass packaging because it makes it feel luxurious. The was a faint scent but it was not over powering. It reminded me of a light floral scent. I've tried this product several times now, and here are my thoughts. First of all, I love the packaging — it’s sleek, minimal, and feels premium. On my face, the product looks beautiful and gives a natural finish. It’s honestly the closest match to my skin tone that I’ve ever tried, which is a big win. The applicator is soft and easy to use, but for a more even finish, I found it best to use a beauty blender. The first time I applied it without any moisturizer underneath, my skin looked dry and fine lines were more visible. But when I prepped my skin properly — using a toner and moisturizer beforehand — the results were much better. As I mentioned, the tone is a great match overall. I was excited to try the ALLEVEN instant perfector because it’s a foundation and concealer all in one. My initial thought that it was going to cake up on my face after using it all day and I’m glad to say it did not. It has a real good full coverage which I prefer to go with and helps with fine lines which doesn’t sit into the lines. The foundation feels lightweight than others I’ve tried so far...but also has a dewy natural satin finish that looks like skin when wearing it.
